H.F. Lee Coal Ash Basin Armoring
The active ash basin at the H.F. Lee Power Plant in Goldsboro, NC continues to operate safely as historic flood waters from the Neuse River continue to recede. This image, taken on Oct. 15, shows the rip rap and other enhancements that were made in recent months to further protect the dam from the river.
