CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Duke Energy today launched a multi-media advertising campaign to highlight the ways the company and its employees are powering customers daily lives in the Carolinas, Florida and the Midwest.
"The campaign's theme, 'Power for your life', highlights memorable moments in our customers lives that Duke Energy and our employees quietly help to make happen," said Selim Bingol, Duke Energy chief communications officer. "We are privileged to play a role in these moments."
The TV ads depict meaningful moments in people's lives: a father takes pride in his daughter's rock band; another dad tries to lull his infant to sleep; a hesitant woman ventures out with a salon makeover.
The radio ads similarly capture everyday situations in which Duke Energy's employees provide power for daily life and its meaningful moments. One ad highlights a family movie night; another depicts a morning routine.
In addition to TV and radio ads, the campaign includes newspaper and website ads, along with posts on Duke Energy's social media channels.

Duke Energy shareholders, not customers, are paying for the ad campaign, which will run in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. The company did not disclose the campaign's cost.
