CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Duke Energy today announced a donation of $100,000 to Unite Charlotte. This new community fund was established in response to the recent unrest in Charlotte and will support programs and organizations focused on community healing, rebuilding trust and creating opportunities, including work being done by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Opportunity Task Force.
