PLAINFIELD, Ind. – Duke Energy is launching a new initiative for small- and medium-sized businesses in Indiana to help them control their energy costs.

The Small Business Energy Saver program offers a convenient process for business customers to make energy-related improvements to their operations by offering significant discounts on products that save energy and money.

“We know that many small business owners don’t have time to take on an energy efficiency program alone,” said Nate Lewis, who manages the Small Business Energy Saver program. “We’re here to support them by offering a clear path toward saving energy and money, while also improving the look and feel of their facility.”

The program includes:

  • A free, no-obligation energy assessment
  • Specific energy-saving recommendations for the business
  • Coverage for up to 80 percent of all materials and installation costs on select lighting and refrigeration improvements, as well as up to 20 percent on eligible HVAC upgrades
  • Convenient installation scheduled around a business’s needs

Duke Energy representatives guide the customer through the entire process to make it as easy and convenient as possible. Small business owners can call 855.322.0998 to schedule a free, no-obligation energy assessment.
